London LGS has announced their appointment as an authorised channel partner, which is part of LGS newly-expanded commercial strategy that includes a dedicated 3D printing division, for the CubeX and ProJet x60 series of 3D printers by leading manufacturer 3D Systems.
LGS Managing Director Chris Friend says:
As the technology improves and becomes more affordable, were seeing increasing interest from our clients eager to understand what 3D printing can offer them. Recently the McKinsey Global Institute identified 3D printing as having a high potential for economically disruptive impact over the next decade.
We have recently refurbished our Covent Garden offices and now have the 3D printers on demonstration together with a range of 3D software packages designed to facilitate the production of 3D models suitable for printing. The result is a convenient, central London location that allows companies of all sizes to find out more about how 3D printing can positively impact their business.
The LGS 3D Printing division is headed-up by industry specialist John Robertson, who has been 3D CAD modelling for 20 years and rapid prototyping for over a decade, continues Chris.
Part of the LGS commitment to provide news, opinion, information and education on new technologies within the creative and enterprise environments are a series of free-to-attend lunchtime seminars, held at their Covent Garden showroom. The next 3D printing seminar is scheduled for Thursday, 7th November.
